Vegan Cheese Sauce
This has to be my absolute favorite things to eat. It’s perfect for watching a football game, or snacking after a long day at work, or adding to any recipe where you just want some cheesiness. I remember thinking that this is such a hard thing to make, but it’s incredibly easy, and it will save you tons of money, because you won’t have to buy something pre-made!

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp of vegan butter
- 2 tbsp of flour
- 1 cup of unsweetened plain oat milk
- ½ cup of vegan cheese (or 2 slices of vegan cheese)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup of water
- ¼ cup of salsa of your choice (or use my Roasted Pepper Salsa recipe)
Steps

Heat the vegan butter in a pot.

Whisk in the flour one tbsp at a time.

Slowly add the unsweetened oat milk and keep whisking.

Add the cheese and salt, stir it in, and let it melt thoroughly.

Slowly add the water and keep whisking.

Last add the salsa and stir it in thoroughly.
